As I sit here typing this, our beautiful boy of almost 4 weeks is laying beside me sleeping. What a journey! We are so completely in love with this baby. It is hard to believe how fast this all came about but everything worked out so well.
I have been thoroughly enjoying motherhood -even the late night wake-ups and feedings. I have off until October so I am really loving taking walks and the time to spend with our son.
I am thinking about the name of our blog and I suppose it is fitting to keep it still. It feels like we are always waiting on something. Even though the wait for an adoption has come to a close, the adoption itself is just beginning. I am reminded of how we are instructed to wait upon the Lord. I'm not sure how much I will update this blog but hopefully, there will be further stories of waiting and fulfillment.
